   I use Cree products, and I am thoroughly impressed with them. Such high output with minimal energy draw is key.

   But..

   What makes a CREE LED a CREE LED? As in, why is it obviously so much better than a regular LED?

   Thanks for your comment and for using Cree products. Part of what makes a Cree LED special is that we use a better material system and build LEDs from the ground up for the lighting market.
