Project highlights:

• Achieved 46% below ASHRAE 90.1 2004 standards for interior illumination;
• Achieved 77% below ASHRAE 90.1 2004 standards for exterior illumination;
• Supplementing natural daylighting high-performance, environmentally friendly LED lighting used for 95% of the interior electric lighting requirements;
• High-performance, dark-sky compliant LED lighting used for 59% of the exterior lighting requirements including parking lot lighting;
• Utilized long lifetime (50,000 hours), independently tested and verified LED lighting fixtures that will reduce the waste stream and minimize maintenance calls;
• Attaining an additional 46% energy reduction reduced material needs (breakers, conduit size, and HVAC equipment), and will reduce C02 emissions and coal consumption accordingly;
• Minimized fluorescent sources that contain hazardous mercury requiring disposal;
• Created the opportunity for owner/operator to receive substantial operating savings; and
• Qualified for maximum points in the New Construction LEED program.
